Fishing
Los Cabos has been called the marlin capital of the world. Home to some of the world's most famous off-shore tournaments, fishing is a year-round sport, and not just for marlin. Wahoo, Dorado, Tuna, Sea Bass and many more of the most sought after species in the world abound in our waters. At Puerto Los Cabos, our marina puts your boat in the water just minutes away from some of the world's most celebrated fishing grounds.

Art Walk
Enjoy artwork in the dozen or so galleries opening their doors every Thursday evening in San Jose's historic art district. At Art Walk, visitors are served wine and appetizers as they leisurely make the rounds of the fine art galleries. View art, meet the artists, and dine in the fabulous neighborhood restaurants set in turn of the century buildings. Stroll through the picturesque historic center of San Jose. Meet old friends and make new ones as you enjoy performance art and music in the streets which are closed for the event. (Art Walk runs November through June).

Organic Markets
Organic farming is well established in Los Cabos with a number of farms both large and small spread across the map. Weekly organic markets can be found throughout the county providing an entertaining and healthy way to spend the day. Listen to music, watch performance art, and buy fresh organic produce from local farms to take home. Arts, crafts, clothing, home accents, books, furniture and treats for the palate abound at these organic markets, each with a distinctive personality.

Snorkeling
The natural beauty of the Los Cabos geographical terrain is only rivaled by the undersea landscape awaiting your discovery. Grab a mask, snorkel and fins and begin exploring the coves where you will find yourself swimming with endangered sea turtles, manta rays and a plethora of multi-colored fish species through the rocky topography of their habitat.

Surfing

Experienced and novice surfers alike will find a spot that satisfies the desire to commune with nature in the waves. Walk to the surf from Puerto Los Cabos.

Hiking and mountain biking in the Sierra
The beaches of Los Cabos are truly spectacular, but they are not the area's only natural wonder. Exploring the canyons of the Sierra de la Laguna Mountains on foot or on bike provides stunning views and surprises. Following the summer rains, the granite canyons fill with freshwater pools fed by dramatic waterfalls. Grab your hiking boots, bike or both, pack a picnic and set out for day of hiking, biking and a freshwater swim in the mountains.

The photogenic San Jose del Cabo estuary is home to over 100 species of birds and the splendor they exhibit provides endless entertainment for bird watchers, photographers and nature enthusiasts alike.
