The Marina At Puerto Los Cabos provides the opportunity for fishing enthusiasts from the world over to get out on the sea and discover the myriad of banks and canyons off our coast that have made Los Cabos one of the most famous deep sea fishing destinations in the world. If you don't have a boat of your own in the marina, charter one. Options to choose from include everything from pangas, which are the least expensive way to get out on the water, to luxury yachts. You may fish with live bait or use lures, and charter companies will provide you with tackle.
Anglers over 12 years of age must have a fishing license, which currently costs around $10 U.S. a day. You can get your license on the beach or at the marina, and many charters will provide you with a license. Make sure you bring a hat, sunscreen and a camera to record your memories. You may take your catch back home with you but if you do so, it is recommended that you not tape your cooler until you have been through inspection at the airport. Contact Captain Jim Elfers at the Marina At Puerto Los Cabos to make your reservation for fun on the water, in the
"marlin capital of the world."
